Apprentice Electrician Carley Williams was recently invited by a teacher at her alma mater, Green Mountain College, to organize and teach a Photovoltaics Weekend Intensive Class for students. Carley made the most of two full days of class and shop time, running

through a mock site evaluation, and instructing lots of hands-on work creating a small off-grid system.

Carley feels great about the weekend: “It was a good time relearning some skills that I hadn’t used in a while, and teaching others who are also passionate about the environment and the potential of solar energy.”
