The University of Maine Cooperative Extension of Waldo County‘s Rural Living Day features a full day of sessions on many aspects of rural living, from dealing with wildlife, appreciating wild edibles, managing a woodlot, gardening, raising lifestock and putting food by.
ReVision’s John Luft will be speaking at 1:30pm on Solar Options for Homeowners. In this presentation John will explain Solar Hot Water and Grid-tied solar electric systems that allow homeowners to capture solar energy and reduce dependence on fossil fuels. John will outline how these systems work, what is involved in installations, available incentives and expected payback for homeowners.
