In December of 2017, the Regional Economic Development Center expanded an existing solar array with another 55 panels on the roof of their Raymond, NH office.
Each year, the 16.5 grid-tied solar electric system will generate roughly 15,969 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 27,600 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
The project was financed through a Power Purchase Agreement , allowing them to install the array at no upfront cost.
The REDC is a nonprofit that has been offering tech assistance, business funding and business development training in southern NH since it was established in 1994.
