Solar panels on the roof of the Federated Church of Marlborough 's Community House in Marlborough, NH will generate roughly 24,667 kilowatt-hours of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 42,600 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
Financing their project through a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) allowed the church to go solar at no upfront cost in March of 2019. Their new sustainable energy sourcing fits in with their mission to support their community and be good stewards of the earth.
