Sean (he/him) was born and raised in Carencro, LA. He graduated with a degree in Music Business from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. His early career was focused on cultural and community development working for Downtown Lafayette. During this time, he was also an independent singer/songwriter, musician, and producer. He released 4 albums under the name Sean Bruce. He started a record label and began producing music in his own studio while developing local artists of all genres. Sean opened for national acts like Gregory Alan Isakov, co-wrote with Gary Tallent of the E Street Band and was a performing artist at New Orleans Jazz Festival and Key West Songwriters Festival. He’s also toured the U.S. as a drummer with other bands.
His travels gave him a great sense of responsibility for the natural world around him. ReVision Energy attracted him with a mission that aligned with his and he enrolled in the ReVision Energy Electrical Apprenticeship Program. Sean adapted immediately to the cold winters and started installing solar and heat pumps systems across Maine. He later became a crew leader and holds an Electricians License with the State of Maine. After 3 years at ReVision, he joined the Residential Sales and Design team as a Solar Design Specialist advising Mainers on ways to reduce their dependence on fossil fuels with clean energy. Sean is also a certified BPI Building Analyst.
What he enjoys most in his career is being part of the community that ReVision Energy fosters developing relationships with new people every day. Sean continues to write and record music. During his free time, he enjoys hanging at Biddeford’s beaches, watching Arsenal FC and cooking locally sourced ingredients with his wife.
