MOFGA's campus in Unity, Maine
February might be a quiet time for most farms, but things were bustling at the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardners Association (MOFGA) in Unity, ME where we have been solarizing more and more of their campus. Many of you will recognize these buildings from your visits to the annual Common Ground Country Fair, which happens every September. We also installed air source heat pumps across the campus to help offset fossil fuel usage. More solar is slated for spring! The organization will be close to 100% solar by the time the fair is open again this Fall.
