Breaking ground for a new EV charging station in Ellsworth, Maine. A Level II charging station delivers roughly 25 miles of battery charge per hour when plugged into one of the many new electric vehicle models on the road today. One such vehicle, the all-electric Chevy Bolt, has a 240-mile range on one complete charge, zero tailpipe emissions and costs just one fifth of what it costs to fuel an internal combustion engine vehicle.
ReVision just installed several Level II EV charging stations for towns along the Downeast Coastal Corridor in collaboration with A Climate to Thrive. ReVision's Barry Woods was instrumental in landing a grant for the projects in Belfast, Eastport, Southwest Harbor, Ellsworth and Trenton.
