In 2004, my wife and I built a home with radiant floor heat, oil fired hot water, on one level with an attached garage – 2,600 square feet total.
In 2009 we had a Geothermal heat pump installed to replace the oil-fired hot water system. At the same time, we were able to add a whole house air conditioning system as well as a solar hot water panel. As it turns out, I have become nearly totally dependent on electricity other than propane for cooking and a small fireplace for a possible power failure.
In 2010, we decided to look into a PV system with Central Maine Power as our partner. Not knowing whom to contact as far as a PV installer we started a search in the Central Maine area and Revision Energy seemed to keep coming up as a reliable company to be associated with. A phone call and an onsite visit guided us in making a final decision. They installed a 6,900-watt system and it is now 2 months short of 2 years and I have nearly eliminated heating, air conditioning, hot water and an electric bill. I can’t say enough as to how pleased we are with our choice. Revision Energy has been a first rate company to do business with and we highly recommend their products and services. I am sure that the changes that have been made have decreased our carbon foot print.
Thank You Revision Energy!
