Mike grew up in southern New Hampshire, with an obsession for movies, music, and snowboarding. After high school, he moved to Colorado to work for Vail Resorts to spend as much time on the mountain as possible. After a few years, realizing that being a “ski bum” was not going to be the wisest career choice, Mike enrolled at Full Sail University in Florida where he obtained his degree in audio engineering.

After college, he ventured out west and landed in San Francisco where he began working as a Recycling Coordinator and Analyst for the University of California San Francisco. This experience opened his eyes to the issues our planet is facing – and what large-scale sustainability projects can accomplish. He also spent time doing logistics for a lifestyle/apparel company before moving on to hone his skills in the trade of carpentry – doing finish work throughout the Bay Area. In his free time, he traveled the world, focused on music, and took advantage of all the things Northern California has to offer.

In 2016 he and his wife moved back to New England to be closer to family. They settled into the ease and calmer pace of Portland, and added another member to their crew, their son Niko. With a desire to have as much positive impact as possible in his day to day work, Mike joined ReVision Energy. He started on the roof installing solar panels and made his way to the sales and design team where he feels grateful to have found his “right livelihood” – engaging in an occupation that not only earns a living but also creates greater happiness, wisdom, and wellbeing.

Recently becoming a member of a community solar farm himself, Mike enjoys connecting with people and helping them to achieve their own goals of moving towards a green energy transition. As a co-owner of ReVision Energy, he is inspired by the mission-driven work each person brings to the table. When not chatting with folks about solar, Mike enjoys digging for new music, reading, and exploring Maine with his family.
