Kathleen (she/her) was raised in Titusville, Florida, just across the river from the NASA Kennedy Space Center. After graduating high school, she went to the University of Central Florida, where she earned my Bachelors degree. She returned to school in 2019, attending Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she graduated with a Masters in Management Information Systems.

Her career journey began at Eastern Florida State College, where she was an Academic Advisor. Later, she accepted a position as a Career Center Coordinator at the EFSC Career Center. During her time at the Career Center, Kathleen designed and initiated an internship program for the Social Services AS and Health Science BAS programs. From there, her journey took her to the NASA Kennedy Space Center where she was the KSC Internship Coordinator for the NASA Internship Program. She participated with recruitment of mentors and interns, with a goal of increasing diversity for both mentors and interns. She created mentor trainings and engagement activities for interns. Kathleen is proud to report that during her tenure with KSC, NASA Internships was rated amongst the top companies for internships.

When she is not working, she loves to spend time with her family. They are an active family and love to go hiking or play games together. Kathleen is also an avid reader and have recently learned to knit. After recently relocated to Maine, she is looking forward to many outdoor adventures including learning how to ski!
