ReVision Energy Named Top Solar Installer in New England

ReVision Energy is proud to once again climb the ranks of the Solar Power World Top Solar Contractors list, the most recognized annual listing of solar contractors working in the utility, commercial, community, and residential markets in the United States.

For the seventh year in a row (every year that the list has been published) we've been named the #1 Solar Installer in Maine and New Hampshire. This year we are also the #3 Solar Installer in Massachusetts, our newest territory.

Quality Matters

Photos-187.jpgNation-wide, we are ranked the #5 solar installer! This is an improvement over last year's ranking of #8. In a landscape increasingly dominated by large, investor-owned companies focused on speed and profit over quality, this ranking means a lot to us. Our employee-owned, values-driven company is focused on making a difference locally. We live where we work - Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts. We don't cut corners or measure our success by speed of install. This ranking proves that a company can operate on a large scale, without compromising on quality and customer service. By working in partnership with our fellow Amicus Cooperative members (many of whom are also ranked highly on this list), we are able to pool our buying power and share best practices to compete against larger, investor-owned companies.

Wondering how you can tell the difference between all of the solar companies out there? We created a guide to compare installers and quotes - so you can feel confident in your solar journey, wherever you are in the country.

Solar Growth Across the Country

The renewable energy industry is entering a tumultuous time, with deep federal cuts to programs that stoked astronomical growth over the past four years. Still, the solar industry broke record after record in 2024, the largest single year of new capacity added to the grid by any energy technology in over two decades.

trillium-construction-solar-install-6115.jpg"At a time when the federal government is doing everything it can to cut solar power down, the gigawatts put up by our 2025 Top Solar Contractors emphasize just how crucial it is to our nation’s energy mix,” said Kelsey Misbrener, managing editor of Solar Power World. “From the smallest residential projects to the largest utility-scale solar farms, these installations are keeping the lights on and keeping power affordable. We’re thrilled to recognize another outstanding class of Top Solar Contractors.”

The country installed nearly 50 GW of new solar capacity in 2024, with solar and storage accounting for 84% of all new electric generating capacity added to the grid.
