The Nature Conservancy’s Great Bay office in Newmarket, NH
The Nature Conservancy’s Great Bay office in Newmarket, NH will be nearly carbon neutral after the installation of a 6.1kw grid-tied solar elecrtric array. The solar array is designed to cover 100% of the office’s electric load and will offset nearly 6,000 pounds of carbon pollution each year.
To celebrate its energy independence, the Great Bay office is hosting a Solar Open House later this month. The public is welcome to stop by between 4 pm and 6 pm on Friday, April 21. The office is located at 112 Bay Road in Newmarket, NH. A ReVision Energy representative will be on hand to answer questions about the solar array.
ReVision Energy donated labor to perform a structural upgrade that was required before the installation could start. About half a dozen employees donated their time. As a benefit of employment, ReVision Energy pays its employees to perform up to eight hours of community service each year.
