    Three J Farms

A 48-panel solar array at Three J Farms in Danbury, New Hampshire will generate roughly 14,963 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity each year. The 14.4 kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system on the roof of their equestrian arena will help bring down electric costs, and offset the equivalent amount of carbon pollution from driving over 25,800 miles in a gas-powered car.

Three J Farms has been owned by the Deuink family for six generations, where they graze cattle and train Morgan horses on their 500 acre farm. Three J Farms also produces hay and has a small maple syrup operation.

By the numbers:

System size: 14.4 kilowatts (48 solar panels) System output: 14,963 kilowatt-hours/yr CO? reduction: 15,756 pounds/yr
