Trip was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and moved to New England in 2012 after completing a bachelor’s degree in German.
Following a decade in the electronic publishing industry, he transitioned to a second career in sales in 2024.
He lives in a farmhouse from 1870 which provides many opportunities for DIY home improvement and is often found in his garden or working on his small collection of vintage Japanese motorcycles. He enjoys outdoor recreation with his wife and daughter, especially paddling Maine’s lakes and rivers on his hand-built cedar strip canoe as well as exploring the state’s backroads and trails on anything with two wheels.
