Tina joined ReVision Energy as a Commercial Solar Consultant in 2022 after 30 years as a public-school teacher and administrator. While a Superintendent at RSU 9, she signed the district into the Souther Farm Solar Array in Livermore Falls, covering 90% of the district’s electricity needs. She believes the transition to solar is an important message and shows that school leaders are committed to the long-term well-being of students by providing quality education and being good stewards of the earth.
Since joining ReVision Energy, she has educated other school districts and municipalities on the economic, environmental, and educational benefits of transitioning to solar with ReVision Energy. Addressing the barriers for economically disadvantaged schools and communities to transition to green energy is a top priority. In her first year, Tina focused on off-site opportunities that required no local assets or upfront costs for participation. She is currently educating organizations about PPA options, also allowing for a transition to solar at no upfront cost.
Tina is a lifelong athlete. She ran competitively in high school and college and continues that passion as a master’s runner completing races throughout Maine. She also enjoys skiing, mountain biking, and paddle boarding with her husband of 36 years. Tina volunteers in her community and currently serves on the Livermore Public Library Board and the Maine Virtual Academy School Board.
