2025: A Big Year for EV Charging

Despite the headwinds created by the federal government’s attack on all things clean energy, ReVision had its best year ever in terms of number and diversity of commercial EV charging projects. Since ReVision began its EV division in 2017, we have installed over 600 ports across Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts, with over 50 of them DC Fast Charger (“DCFCer”) technology.

A few highlights from 2025:

  • team at beta .jpgThe EV Team's visit to BETA TechnologiesWe partnered with electric airplane manufacturer BETA Technologies on a customized 300 kW DC Fast Charger for electric aircraft, located at the Portland Jetport.
  • Explore Maine! We installed critical 150 kW DCFCers in Rangeley, Rumford, and Greenville as part of Efficiency Maine and the state of Maine’s ongoing funding of charging corridors to promote statewide tourism
  • Battery Storage + EV Charging = a more economical interaction with the grid. We installed DCFCers in Orono in partnership with Global BP and Electric Era, a Seattle-based Battery Energy Storage System vendor.
  • island institute damariscotta ev charger.jpgEmerson, an Island Institute Fellow, with the newly-installed Damariscotta chargersAs part of their push to grow workplace charging and employee engagement with clean transportation, we installed ten state-of-the-art ChargePoint CP 6000 series level 2 ports installed at Hannaford's Headquarters in Scarborough, OceanView Falmouth, Gulf of Maine Research Institute, and Bates College.
  • We worked with municipalities including Augusta, Bangor, Damariscotta, Westbrook, Ellsworth, Dover-Foxcroft, Nashua, and Old Orchard Beach to enhance their level 2 public charging resources
  • Downtown Portsmouth's first DCFCer! We launched a partnership with Piscataqua Savings, a fellow Certified B-Corp, so visitors to Portsmouth can now charge quickly.
  • piscataquasavingsbank EV.jpgPiscataqua Savings, PortsmouthMore New Hampshire DCFCers were installed in clusters at supermarkets in Epping (Market Basket) and Dover (Hannaford).
  • Our partnerships with both public and private housing facilities continues. We installed Level 2 chargers for Portland Housing, South Portland Housing Development, Maine Housing, and Bath Public Housing, as well as 6 North Apartments and the Rapids at Cocheco.

Thank you to all of our customers and community who have been championing EV driving and charging! The world tomorrow will be driving (and flying) electric and we're excited to be part of this.
