South Portland, Maine — ReVision Energy has launched the Small Business Solar Accelerator, a new program designed to help qualifying small businesses quickly and confidently transition to solar energy while taking advantage of time-sensitive federal tax incentives. The program is available to eligible business owners in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts who own their buildings and are looking to reduce operating costs through renewable energy.
With electricity costs continuing to rise across New England, many small businesses are seeking ways to gain greater control over their energy expenses. For organizations that qualify, the Small Business Solar Accelerator provides a streamlined path from initial consultation to project completion, helping participants navigate the solar process and maximize the available 40% federal Investment Tax Credit (ITC).
“Small businesses are the backbone of our local economy, yet many owners are facing mounting pressure from rising electricity costs, inflation, and the day-to-day challenge of keeping their businesses competitive,” said Fortunat Mueller, CEO of ReVision Energy. “The Small Business Solar Accelerator was created to remove barriers and simplify decision-making for these business owners. We want to help them reduce their operating costs, gain control over their energy future, and capture these savings before the incentives change.”
The program is designed specifically for small business owners who are interested in solar but aren’t sure where to begin. Participants receive guidance from ReVision Energy’s commercial solar team, which helps evaluate site suitability, financial returns, available incentives, and project timelines.
For many businesses, solar can deliver long-term benefits beyond environmental impact, including protection from rising utility rates, predictable energy costs, and improved operating margins. As businesses face increasing pressure from fluctuating energy prices, investing in on-site solar generation can provide decades of energy savings.
