Town of Brentwood, NH solar energy project installed by local employee-owned contractor ReVision Energy

In August of 2017 the town of Brentwood, NH stepped up its sustainability with a 434-panel, 132.4 kW solar array at the Brentwood Fire station.

Each year, the town’s system will generate roughly 164,816 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting 100% of the municipal electric load, with the exception of Swasey School. The array significantly reduce Brentwood’s carbon footprint and the electricity it generates will save taxpayers as much as $1 million over the life of the system.

The array was financed under a PPA arrangement whereby the town pays no money upfront to get the solar installed, and instead makes payments (below utility rate) for the solar-generated electricity.

We spoke with 6 companies prior to contracting with ReVision and could not be more pleased. From the initial meeting through the entire contract, scheduling, and installation, they were all top notch.
