Proctor Academy Solar – Andover, New Hampshire Solar Project – ReVision Energy
Proctor Academy Solar – Andover, New Hampshire solar energy project installed by local employee-owned contractor ReVision Energy
A series of nine solar arrays on the campus of Proctor Academy (428.2 kilowatts total – enough to power 85 homes) represents one of the largest solar projects of its kind at a New England school. The initiative is student-initiated, driven by the school’s environmental mission statement, and made possible through a unique Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with ReVision Energy and outside investors. Under a PPA, a nonprofit (like Proctor) pays no money upfront for solar, but instead provides a site for the equipment to live, and commits to purchasing the solar power for a duration of time at a rate competitive with the traditional utility.

We spoke with 6 companies prior to contracting with ReVision and could not be more pleased. From the initial meeting through the entire contract, scheduling, and installation, they were all top notch.
