Mount Desert Town Garage – Mount Desert, ME Solar Project – ReVision Energy
Mount Desert Town Garage – Mount Desert, ME solar energy project installed by local employee-owned contractor ReVision Energy
With a 255-panel solar array on the roof of the town garage, Mount Desert in Maine is reducing municipal energy costs along with their carbon footprint.
Each year, the 76.5 kilowatt grid-tied solar array with generate roughly 71,309 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of driving over 130,072 miles in a gas-powered car.
The town of Mount Desert financed the array with a Power Purchase Agreement , with the upfront costs paid by investors through a fund managed by ReVision.

We spoke with 6 companies prior to contracting with ReVision and could not be more pleased. From the initial meeting through the entire contract, scheduling, and installation, they were all top notch.
