Jonathan grew up in Woodland, Maine enjoying the farming and outdoor recreation traditions of northern Maine. He graduated with a degree in Engineering Physics from the University of Maine in Orono, ME. He then earned a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministry and Master of Theology in Historical Theology at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC. He returned to Maine to pastor Little River Church in Belfast, ME in the fall of 2015 and began working at ReVision Energy in the spring of 2017.
Jonathan has transitioned his own home in Belfast to efficient electric space and water heating to make the largest environmental and economic impact of clean solar electricity. He is excited to put his engineering training and faith driven principles of creation stewardship to work helping accelerate the clean energy transition in Maine.
Jonathan and his wife Heather are the proud parents of three exceptionally kind, funny and intelligent daughters. They find joy in following Jesus with their church family, filling their farm table with friends for food and board games, and recreating in Maine’s beautiful woods and waters.
