Ready to get Started?

Congratulations on choosing an energy transition investment for your home! The next steps are easy:

Want to finance through a ReVision lending partner?

Great! Let your System Designer know that you’d like to finance one or more systems. They will help you get started with the loan application with our lending partner to get pre-approved. There is no obligation to move forward after completing a loan application.

Want to invest by purchasing the system with your own funds?

You can choose to finance the system through your own lending solution. Currently we accept payments online via ACH and bank transfer, or by check. An online payment via ACH is the most-efficient option. Upon receipt, your payment will be deposited into our account with Bangor Savings Bank, a local, solar-powered bank committed to working towards a sustainable future.

Payment Terms for systems not financed through ReVision's lending partners:

• 1/3 due upon signing the contract – a signed contract and deposit puts your system in our installation queue.

• 1/3 due upon delivery of major equipment to the site.*

• Remaining balance due upon system completion.

*Most residential systems take just a couple of days to complete so the second 1/3 and the remaining balance typically is due in just one payment upon receiving the final invoice from ReVision Energy

Special Notes about Taxes and Rebates

Estimates of federal tax credits and state rebates are provided to the best of our knowledge. We will assist with the processing of state and local rebates, however note that some rebate programs are first come, first served with limited funding and we cannot guarantee you will receive them. Also, state rebates may be taxed as income depending on your tax filing.

The federal solar tax credit is a credit and not a deduction, so it will directly reduce the amount of tax you owe. ReVision Energy does not provide tax advice. We recommend that you consult with a professional tax advisor to review eligibility for federal tax incentives and how those incentives may affect your taxes prior to making a purchasing decision.

Special Notes about Solar Electric systems

System production predictions are based on weather data specific to your location and adjusted based on conditions at your site. Snow accumulation and shading of the array will affect system production. We have done our best to factor these into performance estimates, however system production can vary from year to year.

Data estimates are based on that of National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) PVWatts Calculator, as well as proprietary system production data across thousands of ReVision’s renewable energy systems currently operating in the field. Estimates are for informational purposes only. Due to the large number of variables affecting efficiency and performance that are beyond ReVision Energy’s control, ReVision Energy makes no warranty or guarantee that the equipment or system installed in accordance with this proposal shall perform in accordance with such estimates.

A grid-tied solar array only operates when the utility grid is operating in order to meet code requirements and to keep utility workers safe while making repairs during grid outages. If emergency backup power during an outage is a goal for your solar energy system, ReVision Energy can design and install a battery storage system that can be charged by the solar array to supply power during a grid outage. Battery storage systems can be integrated with a solar array now or in the future.

Special Notes about Battery Storage systems

System storage estimates are based on the nameplate rating and depth of discharge recommended to your specific battery bank. Snow accumulation and shading of the array will affect system production and storage capacity (during grid outages). Due to the large number of variables affecting efficiency and performance that are beyond ReVision Energy’s control, ReVision Energy makes no warranty or guarantee that the equipment or system installed in accordance with this proposal shall perform in accordance with such estimates.

Tesla Powerwall proposal and pricing is based on published information available from Tesla as of the proposal date. Where this information is preliminary and subject to change, the scope or price of this proposal is subject to change as well as new product details and specifications are made available.

Tesla product availability depends on manufacturer’s delivery date, which is subject to change. ReVision Energy will always do our best to keep you informed about changes to availability dates from the manufacturer and the impacts on your projected installation date.

Special Notes about Air Source Heat Pump systems

The heat pump unit will produce its rated output at temperatures down to -4 degrees Fahrenheit. At temperatures below this the output of the unit will decrease and it may cease to function at temperatures below -13 degrees Fahrenheit. Both indoor and outdoor units produce noise at varying levels. The noise output of the indoor unit will range between 21 and 45 decibels (level of whispered conversation). The noise of the outdoor unit will range between 48 and 55 decibels (level of refrigerator running). When mounted on a wall bracket, the outdoor unit may cause noise and/or vibrations in the adjacent space.

Estimates of equipment or system efficiency or expected energy savings are for informational purposes only. Ultimately the amount of energy consumed by a house is primarily determined by the efficiency of the house itself. Poor or minimal insulation will lead to poor energy performance. Due to the large number of variables affecting efficiency and performance that are beyond ReVision Energy’s control, ReVision Energy makes no warranty or guarantee that the equipment or system installed in accordance with this proposal shall perform in accordance with such estimates.

This quote is based on the estimator’s determination of the best indoor and outdoor unit locations and copper tubing layout with minimum building disturbance. It is possible that once on site we will determine that, for any number of reasons not apparent to the estimator, equipment locations may prove infeasible. In such cases, our project manager will have a conversation with you to determine a better installation and will discuss any additional cost with you.

We strive to minimize building disturbance. Our quote does not include any wall patching that may result from running piping/tubing through walls, nor does it include any boxing of tubes that may result from running tubes through interior spaces. Wall patching and/or boxing can be added on a time and materials basis or it can be done by a third party. Every effort will be made to make that work as easy as possible.

Special Notes about Heat Pump Water Heating systems

Estimates of equipment or system efficiency, performance or expected energy savings are for informational purposes only. Due to the large number of variables affecting efficiency and performance that are beyond ReVision Energy’s control, ReVision Energy makes no warranty or guarantee that the equipment or system installed in accordance with this proposal shall perform in accordance with such estimates.

Before filling your water heater we will measure your water pressure. If the pressure exceeds 70 PSI a pressure reducing valve must be installed. This is not currently included in the scope of work and if needed, $200 will be added to your final invoice.
