Sabrina grew up in the Downeast Maine towns Surry and Blue Hill. She’s a proud Black Bear alumna of the University of Maine in Orono, where she received a B.S. in Ecology and Environmental Sciences. After graduating Sabrina interned and worked for Portland-based companies Competitive Energy Services and FB Environmental Associates. Between professional experiences she took a break from Maine to travel and volunteer for two months in Central America. There she lived and worked on an organic farm in Nicaragua and a butterfly conservatory in Costa Rica.
Looking to get back in to the energy industry she jumped at the chance to join the ReVision Energy team in the fall of 2017 as a Renewable Energy Advisor (REA). As an REA Sabrina helps people understand the economic and environmental benefits of adopting solar and other energy efficient electric technologies. She enjoys this position because it allows her to foster her passion for sustainability through science communication and citizen action while getting to help Mainers make tangible differences to their lives, community, and environment.
When she is not in the office Sabrina enjoys playing in the great outdoors – hiking, kayaking, skiing. She’s also avid about physical fitness and training for new athletic challenges, from 5Ks to triathlons. Sabrina loves to travel internationally and tries to leave the US extendedly every year or two. Her general outlook is to try and have as many new experiences in life as possible.
