John, a lifetime New Englander, re-located to New Hampshire eight years ago to be closer to the White Mountains where he leverages “down time” as an avid alpine skier and backpacker. He pursued environmental advocacy work for some years before coming over to the renewable energy sector. John has previous experience in property management and telecommunications, and was licensed to perform low-voltage installations in his native state.
Ever conscious of the importance of sustainability, he endeavors to tread lightly on our Earth, and grows a good deal of organic food for personal and community benefit. One of his often repeated quotes, ostensibly credited to Black Elk: “We did not inherit this land from our ancestors. We borrow it from our grandchildren.” He likes to remind us too, that “green is the color of our future”.
