Calvin grew up on the North Shore of Massachusetts in a small town called Merrimac, where he loved to get outside and play sports any chance that he got. At Pentucket High School, Calvin went on to become a 2-sport senior captain, winning the Cape Ann “All League” award for basketball and lacrosse.
Recruited to play lacrosse, Calvin went on to attend Union College in Schenectady, NY to study Economics. After his freshman year, he left the lacrosse team to spend more time exploring the outdoors and switched his major to Environmental Policy.
Following his passion for nature and wildlife, he interned over the summer at the Society for the Protection of New Hampshire Forests, focusing on video productions and marketing. After completing an Energy Studies mini term in New Zealand his senior year of college, Calvin knew that he wanted to focus his career on renewable energy & sustainable building.
Post graduation, Calvin moved to Downeast Maine for 6 months living in an off-grid cabin to work for his uncle developing hunting & fishing cabins over 150+ acres of land. Returning to Massachusetts in late 2017, he began his job hunt within the solar industry and shortly after started his first Solar Advising role at ReVision Energy. He immediately fell in love with the company culture and has been helping MA and NH homeowners go solar ever since. Calvin feels incredibly grateful to work for a company that uses business as a force for good and always values people and planet before profit.
