Ben caught the solar bug at a young age after visiting the New Alchemy Institute in Falmouth, MA, a research center focused on sustainability, where he was first exposed to the virtues of renewable energy.
After gaining experience with a Midcoast-based mechanical contracting company, Ben came to work with ReVision in spring of 2014 and has since taken the reigns as Liberty's air source heat pump project manager. He holds propane, oil and refrigeration licenses and will soon hold his master plumber's license.
While not working at ReVision, Ben and his wife Laura, a local educator and silversmith, are busy at their homestead in Montville, ME. In addition to gardening, harvesting apples and cooking down maple syrup, Ben is also a guitarist with local band The Pinwheel Brothers, an acoustic quartet favoring Americana genres such as bluegrass, folk-rock and swing.
