Hermit Woods Winery – Meredith, NH Solar Project – ReVision Energy
Hermit Woods Winery – Meredith, NH solar energy project installed by local employee-owned contractor ReVision Energy
We love working with small business who are already sustainably minded to increase their progress by switching to renewable, solar energy! Hermit Woods Winery and Deli, a local favorite in Meredith, New Hampshire, is one such business that has always focused on sustainability and longevity. From sourcing local, organic ingredients whenever possible to ensuring their employees make a living wage, their commitment to to our community and our planet has always been a major part of how they measure success.
Our Brentwood-based team was excited to help them step up their sustainable practices by offsetting a portion of their electrical usage with solar panels. We designed and installed a 16 kilowatt grid-tied solar electric system on their winery comprised of 50 solar panels.
When the sun is shining, the panels on the roof of their building produce electricity that is either used in real-time by the winery, or fed back to the grid where it benefits their community (and earns them a credit). Each year, the system will generate roughly 18,530 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity, offsetting the equivalent of over 32,500 miles driven in a gas-powered car.
You can read more about this solar project on Hermit Woods Winery’s website!

We spoke with 6 companies prior to contracting with ReVision and could not be more pleased. From the initial meeting through the entire contract, scheduling, and installation, they were all top notch.
