Groton School – Groton, MA Solar Project – ReVision Energy
Groton School – Groton, MA solar energy project installed by local employee-owned contractor ReVision Energy
50 solar panels in two ground-mounted arrays at the Groton School lower costs and the school’s carbon footprint, while supporting their mission of service and learning.
The array will generate roughly 17,673 kilowatt-hours (kWhs) of electricity each year, offsetting the equivalent of driving over 32,230 miles in a gas-powered car.
About the School:
Groton School is a private co-ed boarding school for students grades 8-12, located in Groton, MA on 480 acres surrounded by conservation, wood, and farm lands.
Their 15 kW solar array at the site of their wastewater treatment facility is not their only sustainable efforts as a school – they focus on sourcing their food locally from nearby farms, and on making energy efficient renovations to their facilities, including geothermal wells for heating and cooling.

We spoke with 6 companies prior to contracting with ReVision and could not be more pleased. From the initial meeting through the entire contract, scheduling, and installation, they were all top notch.
