Free and open to the public

Solar Open House in Sanford Maine, July 12, 2012Join us this Thursday, July 12 from 4:30pm – 6pm for a solar open house at the Baker residence, 78 Milton Ave. in Sanford (in South Sanford in a neighborhood tucked in behind the Marden’s plaza).  This time of year, the Bakers are making 100% of their hot water (instead of hearing their boiler run) and getting credits on their electric bill from CMP.

The event offers an intro by one of our solar energy system designers, Q&A with the homeowners, and tours of the system.  It’s a great opportunity for anyone with questions about solar to see a system up close and learn how the technology works, how much it costs, etc.  The little secret about solar is that today it is much cheaper to invest in solar in the long run than to pay for oil or grid electricity, and our event is designed to help people learn what’s involved in a such an installation.  It is free and open to the public with light refreshments provided.
