Flick family's alpacas with solar tracker

Join us at the home of Sam and Pam Flick for a tour of their solar energy systems on Saturday, November 17th from 9am – 10:30am.

The Flick’s have a solar hot water system which provides most of their household’s domestic hot water supply, as well as a dual-axis AllSun solar electric tracking array that provides most of their electricity. Both systems were commissioned in 2012 and have since dramatically reduced the Flick’s reliance on fossil energy. In 2013 a Kedel pellet boiler was installed as the main heating source for this home!

During the tour we will have a short presentation by ReVision Energy, a tour of the system, and an opportunity to ask questions of the homeowners and ReVision staff. You can also meet some of the Flick’s alpacas! The event is free and open to the public and light refreshments will be provided.
