June 2

10 AM - Noon

Townsend Residence
411 Head Tide Road
Whitefield, ME

Stop in on Saturday, June 2nd from 10 AM to Noon to learn how Dan and Karyn Townsend are using solar energy and heat pump technology to lower their utility bills and reduce their reliance on fossil fuels. The Townsend’s have 18 solar panels (4.8kW system) spanning both their barn and home roofs; as well as a heat pump to power their home’s energy and heating needs. Annually their array offsets 4900lbs of carbon emissions.

Guests attending the Open House will be able to tour these systems, ask questions and interact with other people in the community. A ReVision Energy representative will also be available to discuss current trends, how solar energy and heat pump technology works within a home or business.

Light refreshments will be served. Questions? Contact Holly at 207.589.4171.
