Portsmouth Women's City Club

While solar photovoltaic (PV) power has grown tremendously in recent years in New Hampshire, governmental rules and funding to support it have not kept up. In fact, limitations and constraints put on PV, years ago as well as recently, have left the Granite State in dire straights when it comes to future growth of PV installation.
Key topics the panel will discuss include the need to raise the existing cap on net metering, the decline and “raiding” of funds available for PV in the state’s Renewable Energy Fund, low requirements for PV in state renewable standards and the need for a state energy department to better coordinate this and other renewable energy development.
So come enjoy a pot luck dinner at 6:30 pm, followed by the panel at 7:15 pm.
As always, this is a “zero waste” event, so please bring your own place setting if possible, as well as a dish to share.
