CEBE LogoReVision Energy will be leading and information session about the opportunity of joining a community solar farm in Western Maine on November 12th at the Center for Ecology Based Economy  – The Commons (next to the Fare Share Co-op) in Norway, Maine.

In 2013, ReVision won an Efficiency Maine grant to develop the first shared solar array project, which will extend the solar option to any home or business interested – not just those with southern facing roofs. Utilizing an abundant, free, and sustainable energy source to displace reliance on fossil-fuel-derived grid electricity, solar farms are a viable alternative to indefinite electricity bills. The Maine Community Solar Farm is part of a larger national trend (as seen in projects in Minnesota, Michigan, Colorado and Vermont) to shift the current profit structure of utilities to more distributed generation.

Learn how you can invest in this groundbreaking, locally-based, renewable energy project and help the Western Foothills move one step closer to energy independence!
