Join us for networking and breakfast on May 6th at the Maine Audubon in Falmouth. Our very own co-owner, Fortunat Mueller will be presenting on the study released by the Maine Public Utilities Commission. The study was in response to legislation passed last year. The study focused on distributed solar, meaning solar that is located at or near the place where the power is primarily consumed, for example on the rooftops of homes and businesses. The study calculates the monetary value of the benefits of solar installations and has determined that solar energy produced in Maine is valued at 33 cents per kWh. Come hear from ReVision Energy Principal Fortunat Mueller as to the metrics that went into the study, and what the outcome means for Maine.
Fortunat is a partner at ReVision Energy, with responsibilities including managing operations at the Portland shop and overseeing solar thermal and solar electric system design for both commercial and residential applications. Fortunat received a Masters Degree in Mechanical engineering from Brown University with a concentration in thermodynamics and fluid mechanics and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Fortunat serves on the board of directors of MABEP and NESEA and is also Captain on the North Yarmouth Volunteer Fire Department. Before joining ReVision energy to start the Portland office in 2006, Fortunat was a project manager and senior systems engineer at United Technologies Fuel Cells in Hartford, CT
