Solar Power to Help Provide 50K Meals Annually to the Lawrence Community

ReVision Energy's renewable energy projects are frequently featured in local and national newpapers, radio and television.

Via The Valley Patriot , Bread & Roses, a nonprofit community kitchen in Lawrence, MA, recently had solar installed by ReVision Energy. The project will generate approximately 23,000 kilowatt-hours per year.

Bread & Roses has been providing meals to Lawrence and surrounding communities since 1980. On average, they serve 200 hot meals five nights per week to individuals and families facing food insecurity. Thousands, including veterans, seniors, and disabled individuals, rely on Bread & Roses for their evening meals. The community kitchen also offers other essential services, such as grocery items to take home, an emergency food pantry program, life essentials such as health products and clothing, case management, community food outreach and weekly free health clinics.

Susan McGibbon-Sirois, Bread & Roses Executive Director, is overjoyed about the project. "Anyone considering solar has to consider ReVision. From our first call, through the beginning of installation, ReVision has been professional, informative, courteous, and supportive of our nonprofit, and others. So pleased with this huge step for Bread & Roses! Thank you, ReVision crew!" said Susan.
