Check in for Charity! Visit Our Facebook Page to Raise Funds for The Center for Wildlife

Thursday, January 6th, 2011

ReVision is excited to announce a fun new program to raise funds for local nonprofits.

Check in for Charity with Center for WildlifeCalled “Check in for Charity,” the concept is simple: go to our Facebook Page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/ReVision-Energy/48253820977 and look for the “Check In” graphic pictured right.

For every person that clicks on it, ReVision pledges $1 to a chosen charity of the month, up to $500, starting in January with The Center for Wildlife in Cape Neddick, Maine.

After you “Check in” for this month’s nonprofit, we hope you’ll share the word with your friends, and suggest a candidate to be the next month’s nonprofit. We’ll take nominations through Jan 14, then we’ll put up a poll and start collecting your votes!

Check in for Charity with Center for WildlifeThe “check in” will run all month; to learn more about The Center for Wildlife and their work rescuing and rehabilitating injured wild animals in our community, see their website: http://yorkcenterforwildlife.org/.

Fine print: Each person can only pledge once each month. Also, feel free to suggest as many nonprofits as you like (you can contact us or post to our Facebook page), however they should be based in Maine or New Hampshire. Voting runs through the end of each month; final decision by ReVision Energy.
